Through experiences and objects, StoreFrontLab grant recipients Laura Cohen, Joti Dee, and Colin Wang have teamed up to produce Sound + Consciousness, a project series that explores the complex system of our consciousness and its relationship with sound.

In its first installation, Sound + Consciousness presents the Soundscaped Cocoon. Throughout March, groups will be led on introspective journeys by an array of programming, from sound healing sessions to ambient performances.

Tonight, in connection with Sound+Consciousness, StoreFrontLab presents a program of ambient music performed from within a human-sized chrysalis. Stimulate your senses with an evening of silvered, mystical noise improvisations and colorful collisions of space and time.
