The Coleman Grand Prize winning ensemble’s cathartic programming; including trailblazing 21st century repertoire, 20th century masterworks, and often a nod to J.S. Bach; provides audiences with passionate presentations performed on vintage instruments built to the specifications of the instrument’s inventor, Adolphe Sax. These instruments offer a striking aesthetic characterized by their intrinsic warmth, dynamic range of character, and absolute versatility. Mana redefines the saxophone in classical music.
